God Appoints Aaron as Spokesman
Moses presents his final, most direct resistance at the burning bush. After God answered
every objection regarding identity, authority, and vocal eloquence, Moses pleads: 'Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send
someone else.' Scripture records that the Lord's anger burned against Moses—yet in His overflowing grace, God provides a partner: Aaron the Levite, Moses' older brother, who was already on his way to meet him. God institutes a dual-leadership model: Moses will receive the divine revelation, Aaron will serve as the eloquent mouthpiece, and together they will confront Pharaoh carrying the miracle-working staff of God.
