Winteringham Shawl
I live in rural Lincolnshire, in a small village on the edge of the Wolds. My part of Lincolnshire is renowned for its big skies and lovely landscapes and this pattern, which is part of my Lincolnshire Shawlscapes collection, reflects the beauty and history of the land which surrounds my village.
Winteringham is an asymmetrical triangle shawl and has a finished size of approximately 200 x 50cms after blocking.
To make this you will need three 100 gm balls of 4 ply (each ball = 410 metres). I used Wool is the Answer yarns with their one of a kind mixed colours as the main shade, although “Cherry Blossom Skies” would work just as well, contrasted with “Artichoke” and “Magenta 8“.
