Mosai-KAL shawl

This shawl was designed as a knit-along to teach a class of knitters how to work mosaic stitch, hence the name Mosai-KAL. If you look at the Knitterish Designs Facebook page you will be able to see the various shawls that were made.

 Requirements:

I used three balls of Wool is the Answer 4 ply yarn (100 gm/400m); one in a mix pattern and the other two in contrast colours. The contrast colours need to work well together as they will be used to form the mosaic patterns so need to stand out. The shawl forms an asymmetrical triangle, approximately 160 x 60 cms. 

It is knit on 3mm knitting needles. You can start on straight needles if you prefer but at some stage you will have to move onto circular needles. I recommend 80 cm long.
