The projects are designed to connect rather than feel like six unrelated themes.
What children make in one project can become part of what happens next.

♻️ RECYCLING → 🌱 GARDENING
The journey can begin with something as simple as an empty 3L milk bottle.
During Recycling, children explore how everyday materials can be reused and transformed into something useful.
Milk bottles can become planter pots and watering cans that continue with the children into Gardening.
Recycled materials can also become musical instruments that return later for songs, movement and group experiences using resources such as PLAY and STOP cards.
The things children make don’t have to disappear when the activity ends. They can become part of what happens next.
In Gardening, children use their recycled resources to plant, care for and investigate growing plants.
They observe change over time, compare growing conditions and begin exploring questions about water, light, growth and cause and effect.
And when the carrots are ready, another experience can begin.
🥕 GARDENING → 👩🍳 COOKING & COMPOSTING
From garden to plate — and back to the garden again.
Children can harvest carrots they helped grow and use them in practical cooking experiences.
They have watched the food grow.
They have cared for it.
They have observed it.
Now they can explore ingredients, notice colour and texture, prepare food, follow simple steps, work together and discover how ingredients change.
And the learning does not need to stop after the food is prepared.
Food scraps open the door to composting.
Children can investigate:

How can compost help the garden?

Rather than only hearing about sustainability, children can experience how different parts of the cycle connect.

What happens inside our bodies when we eat and move?
Food experiences can lead naturally into questions about the child's own body.
Through the Healthy Body Project, children explore their bodies, five senses, organs, food and water, movement, rest and everyday healthy habits.
Friendly characters, puppets, activities, videos, music and movement help educators introduce big ideas in ways young children can explore.
Children can begin asking:
Where is my heart?
What do my lungs do?
What happens to food inside my body?
Why does my body need water?
What happens to my heartbeat when I move?
Big body ideas become things children can see, feel, discuss, move and explore.

And after we eat, how do we care for our smiles?
The Healthy Smile Project helps children explore teeth, drinks and everyday routines through characters and puppets, hands-on activities, video, music and movement.
Children can discover how everyday choices and how often we have them can help us care for our smiles.

The project translates professional oral-health knowledge into playful, practical and developmentally appropriate early-childhood experiences.
It is not designed to turn the classroom into a dental clinic.
