THE 4 DAY BODYBUILDING STANDARD METHOD
Build More Muscle
Train With Purpose
Four Days Per Week
A Higher Frequency Bodybuilding System Built Around Progressive Overload, Strategic Overlap & Complete Physique Development
YOU DON'T NEED TO LIVE IN THE GYM TO BUILD A BODYBUILDER PHYSIQUE.
I've spent more than 20 years training.
And as I've gotten more advanced, one thing has become increasingly clear:
More training isn't automatically better training.
What matters is how you organize it.
How often you stimulate a muscle.
How much quality work you can recover from.
How consistently you can progress.
And how efficiently every exercise contributes to the bigger picture.
That's exactly what led me to develop the newest version of the Bodybuilding Standard Method.
THE 4 DAY BODYBUILDING STANDARD METHOD
This isn't simply my 5 day program with one day removed.
It's a completely different application of the same Bodybuilding Standard principles.
Built specifically around four highly productive training days.
THE FOUNDATION HASN'T CHANGED.
If you've followed me for any amount of time, you already know what I believe builds muscle.
Progressive overload.
Hard training.
Quality execution.
Basic movements.
Consistency.
Those principles built my physique.
They've helped build the physiques of my clients.
And they remain at the heart of everything I teach.
The question I wanted to answer with this program was:
How do we get MORE out of four days?
Not by cramming five days of training into four.
Not by turning every workout into a marathon.
And definitely not by simply doing less.
By programming smarter.
INTRODUCING STRATEGIC OVERLAP
This is where the 4 Day Bodybuilding Standard Method becomes different.
Traditional bodybuilding splits tend to isolate everything.
Chest gets its day.
Back gets its day.
Legs get their day.
And then those muscles may sit untouched for another week.
I wanted something different.
The 4 Day BSM strategically organizes the body across four sessions:
DAY 1
UPPER ANTERIOR
Chest • Side Delts • Biceps
DAY 2
LOWER POSTERIOR
Hamstrings • Glutes • Calves
DAY 3
REST
DAY 4
UPPER POSTERIOR
Back • Rear Delts • Triceps
DAY 5
LOWER ANTERIOR
Quads • Abs
DAY 6
REST
DAY 7
REST
But here's where it gets interesting.
The muscles listed for each day are only the primary targets.
Because the exercises are strategically selected to create overlap throughout the week.
Your pressing work trains chest while also involving the triceps.
Your pulling work trains back while also involving the biceps.
Your hip hinges can train hamstrings and glutes while involving the back.
Your quad work can also contribute to glute development.
Instead of viewing that overlap as something we need to avoid...
We use it.
Every exercise earns its place.
Every training day contributes to the bigger picture.
And every muscle receives multiple opportunities for stimulation without requiring another full workout.
HIGHER FREQUENCY WITHOUT LIVING IN THE GYM
This is the entire idea.
Traditional body part splits allow you to absolutely destroy one muscle in a session.
But then you might wait another seven days before training it again.
Higher-frequency programs solve that problem, but they can also create another one:
Too many training days.
Too much overlap within individual sessions.
Too much fatigue.
The 4 Day Bodybuilding Standard Method was designed to find the middle ground.
You get the focus and intensity of bodybuilding training...
With intelligently distributed frequency across the week.
Four training days.
Three recovery days.
And very little wasted work.
THE THREE TYPES OF SETS REMAIN THE HEART OF THE SYSTEM.
Just like the original 5 Day Bodybuilding Standard Method, every workout is organized around three distinct types of work.
1. PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD SETS
These are the foundation.
Your primary movements.
The exercises you track.
The exercises you progress.
The movements where adding reps, load, and improved execution over time drives long-term development.
2. SECONDARY VOLUME SETS
Once the heavy progression work is complete, we accumulate additional productive hypertrophy volume.
Not junk volume.
Not sets just for the sake of doing more.
Strategic additional work designed to stimulate growth without burying recovery.
3. METABOLIC PUMP SETS
This is where we finish the muscle.
Higher reps.
Controlled execution.
Constant tension.
Shorter rest periods.
Maximum blood flow and targeted muscular fatigue.
Progression.
Volume.
Pump.
All three have a place.
And all three work together.
WHY FOUR DAYS?
Because not everybody needs, or wants to train five or six days per week.
And I've become a bigger believer than ever that the program needs to fit the lifter's life.
Work.
Family.
Responsibilities.
Recovery.
Stress.
All of it matters.
A four-day schedule gives us something incredibly valuable:
Recovery.
But instead of simply doing less work, we're going to make the work we DO perform more productive.
That's the difference.
This isn't four days because we're looking for the minimum amount of training possible.
It's four days because we're looking for the maximum return from every training session.
THIS PROGRAM IS FOR YOU IF...
You've built some muscle but your progress has slowed.
You want to train with real bodybuilding intensity without being in the gym six days per week.
You believe in progressive overload but understand there's more to complete physique development than simply moving heavier weight.
You want higher-frequency stimulation without endless workouts.
You need a program you can actually recover from.
You have a career, family, responsibilities, or simply want more life outside the gym.
Or...
You just want an intelligently structured bodybuilding program that makes every training day count.
WHAT YOU'LL GET
Inside The 4 Day Bodybuilding Standard Method you'll learn:
• The complete Bodybuilding Standard Method philosophy

This is a complete training system.
Not a collection of workouts.
THIS ISN'T A BEGINNER "4 DAY GYM PLAN."
This distinction matters.
I didn't create this program because I wanted something easier.
I created it because I wanted something efficient.
There's a major difference.
You're still going to train hard.
You're still going to progressively overload.
You're still going to be expected to execute at a high level.
We're simply removing wasted work and using exercise selection, frequency, and strategic overlap to get more from the work we're already doing.
Four days doesn't mean four easy workouts.
It means four productive ones.
BODYBUILDING HAS TO FIT YOUR LIFE.
There was a time in my life when everything revolved around training.
If you've followed me for years, you know how seriously I've always taken this.
I still do.
But one of the biggest lessons I've learned after more than two decades in bodybuilding is that context matters.
The best program isn't automatically the one with the most training days.
It's the one that allows YOU to train hard, recover, progress and repeat that process consistently.
That's what this program was built around.
The principles haven't changed.
The application has evolved.
THE BODYBUILDING STANDARD METHOD — BUILT FOR FOUR DAYS.
Progressive Overload.
Higher Frequency.
Strategic Overlap.
