Newly updated pattern in May 2026 with a different yarn and changes to the pattern to ensure that even the largest size can be knitted using 1 x 50g (100m) ball of wool.

Cambrian Wool 100% Welsh Wool, (100m/50g), 1 ball, Welsh Red.
Note: this yarn is listed as a DK weight, but it is not a standard DK. Its length to weight ratio is closer to worsted.
Usage per size: 72 (84, 90)m/36 (42, 45)g
Finished Measurements
Small (Medium, Large)
Palm circumference: 16 (17.5, 19) cm
Length: 16 (18, 18.5) cm

Needles
3.75mm dpns or preferred needles for small circumferences
4mm dpns or preferred needles for small circumferences
Tension
21.5 sts and 29 rnds to 10cm over st-st worked in the round using larger needles
