It’s almost the height of the festive season in the afterlife and Bridget Sway is dreading another dead Christmas. Almost more than she dreaded alive Christmases.

Since Bridget is now a fully fledged, not-on-parole, completely well-adjusted afterlife citizen, she was looking forward to staying in her pyjamas all day, eating until she was sick and watching anything other than Christmas movies. But her housemates had other ideas.

In an attempt to get her in the holiday mood, they signed her up to participate in the Christmas Parade and now she has to spend the entire Christmas week spreading seasonal joy as a Festive Spirit spirit.

Everything is going terribly until she finds a murdered Santa under the mistletoe.

Murder, unlike Christmas, is something Bridget understands. And with only a few days to go, can Bridget find the Santa slayer and a Santa replacement before Christmas is ruined?
