Are you thinking of starting your dream podcast show but don't know where to start? I created a FREE checklist that you can follow so that by the end of the list, you can publish the first episode of your podcast show!
I am a creator, executive producer/writer, audio/video editor, and social media strategist at The Piano Pod, a digital community for all pianists. I am also a founder/CEO of Yukimi Song Studio LLC -- an education company, classical pianist, and educator. (Yes, I wear so many different hats!)
"How can I present the beautiful tradition of classical music to the 21st-century audience in a fun, contemporary, and engaging way?"
Since I started teaching piano to young children in the trendy, vibrant neighborhood of Downtown Manhattan in NYC a long ago, I began to question.
Then, during my grad school at NYU, one of the music department's professors suggested I start a podcast to connect with my audience and share my values about learning music.
The opportunity finally arrived in the summer of 2020 to start a new project with the help of two of my colleagues to connect classical musicians to audiences through podcasting.
Since its launch, I have interviewed guests who have been breaking exciting new ground in the classical piano industry to discuss the traditions of the piano and expand its capabilities in this new era. The guest speakers include A-list pianists and composers, performance psychologists, music technologists, educators, entrepreneurs, live-streamers, and neurodiverse specialists.
I am also passionate about teaching podcasting podcast enthusiasts like you! So I created a course called "Let's Podcast! – for Women 40+" and started teaching female podcast enthusiasts over 40 in July 2022. Since then, I have helped many women to make their dream come true -- they started their successful shows, currently streaming on Apple, Spotify, Google, Amazon, and more after taking my classes.
But now, I decided to open this course to ALL! So, if you are ready, let's grab a mic🎙 and share your incredible life stories, values, and worth with the world! Because I believe that if I can do it, so canYOU!
So, whether I wear a podcast producer, instructor/ coach, CEO, or performing art professional hat today, my calling is to be a teacher. I look forward to taking on a podcast journey with you very soon!
