This is a pattern to make a Spring themed slouchy beanie hat using the stranded colourwork technique.

This pattern contains 2 charts (ewes or ram and in both colour palettes) to choose from and includes our motifs from our Patreon members’ Spring stocking project! Fingering Weight by 5 Sisters Farm; Fingering; 100% Shetland 88yds (80m) / 28g / 1oz

each kit contains enough yarn to make 1 hat in your choice of Palette I or II:

Colour Palette I

colour A (Quince; light) - 1oz

colour B (Chrysanthemum; dark) - 1oz

colour C (Spruce; medium) - 1oz

OR

Colour Palette II

colour A (Cornflower; dark) - 1oz

colour B (Quince; light) - 1oz

colour C (Leaf; light) - 1oz

needles:

2.5mm (us no 1.5) circular or DPNs, 16in/41cm and DPNs 6in/15cm

3.0mm (us no 2.5) circular, 16in/41cm and DPNs 6in/15cm

gauge: 28 sts x 32 rows = 4in/10cm

measured over stranded stockinette on larger needles

approximate finished size:

one size fits many 21-25 in/53cm-63.5 cm head
