Wait And See

Here's my transcription of a lovely ballad Fats co-wrote with his longtime lyricist Andy Razaf.

Of note is the dazzling cascading run in Fats' solo as he emerges from the middle 8, a regular feature in Fats' virtuosic stride arsenal. There is a pattern to it, which I've tried to describe via suggested fingering. While I've had to be literal in my notation, play them freely!

Balance issues make Fats’ LH difficult to discern from the double bass part, so some educated guesses were necessary. Apologies for any detected discrepancies. Do let me know if you notice anything.
