Abu Bakr Ash Shiddiq: Leader of the Prophets
Abu Bakr was the first man to embrace Islam. He was one of the Prophet's closest and most beloved friends.
He became the best servant who became caliph and he died at the age of 63 years. After the Prophet died, he was appointed the first caliph in Islamic history.
He led the Islamic government after the death of the Prophet. During the life of the Apostle, Abu Bakr was often appointed by the Apostle to be the prayer leader.
In one hadith it is stated that he entered heaven through its eight doors. He also did not hesitate to give away all his wealth.
So he became a leading friend in good deeds. Those are some of the reasons why he is called the leader of the friends.
He once accompanied the Apostle for three nights in the Tsur cave. At that time they were hiding from the pursuit of the Quraysh infidels.
In the cave, Abu Bakr tore his clothes to cover the stones on the walls and floor of the cave until his clothes were gone.
But there are still rocks that haven't been covered yet. Then he put his heel to cover the stone so that it would not hurt the Messenger of Allah.
Rasulullah saw. went into the cave, lay down and put his head on Abu Bakr's lap until he fell asleep. Suddenly Abu Bakr felt his foot stuck on a rock, but he did not move so that the Apostle would not wake up.
Due to the pain, Abu Bakr's eyes filled with tears, and the tears flowed down the face of the Apostle. Then the Apostle got up and blew on Abu Bakr's feet to relieve the pain.
