Abdurrahman bin Auf's business assets and wealth were truly abundant. His wealth has made him one of the ten companions of the prophet who are guaranteed to enter heaven. He is also known as the first of the eight friends to convert to Islam.

He has sacrificed a lot of his wealth. When moving to Medina. All his wealth was taken by the Quraish infidels. While in Medina he returned to trading. Apart from sacrificing wealth, he also sacrificed a lot of life. During the Battle of Uhud, he received many injuries. More than 20 injuries. His teeth also fell out, making his speech less clear. One of his legs even limped. Even though he was seriously injured, he still protected the Prophet from enemy attacks. Even though at that time many other Muslim soldiers left the battlefield.
