A PDF file of a knitting pattern for a traditional style Orenburg Lace Shawl. The finished piece is 72" x 72". I worked mine in a lace weight wool yarn. I used about 3,300 yards and a knitting needle in US size 2.5. This is an intermediate skill level piece. The instructions are charted with written guidance. There are nupps in the border which can be beaded or elimated. The triangles were inspired by the drum in Disney's version of Peter Pan. Since the piece is worked in traditional Orenburg style, when you are finished with the top teeth, the piece is pretty much finished. All that remains is to graft the few remaining stitches and weave in the ends. There is also very little purling in this piece. If you have questions or need help please ask.
