You meant to follow up. Then Tuesday happened.

The thank-you you meant to send. The regular who used to order every month and hasn't been back since spring. The call you promised, and forgot. Customers rarely walk out angry. They just quietly stop coming back.

Kitson Card Box Follow-Up Coach turns your own order export into this week's follow-up list, every week:

  • Promises due: anything you told a customer you'd do, with the overdue ones first.
  • Thank-yous due: new customers who haven't heard from you yet.
  • Regulars gone quiet: customers who are well past their own usual gap between orders.
  • Reorders coming up: worked out from each customer's own buying rhythm.

Every card says why it was picked, with the dates and order facts behind it.

Then Claude Opus 5.5 drafts a short, personal message for each card, in your own sign-off. You read it, change what you like, and send it yourself. The app never sends anything.

What makes it different

  • All the numbers come from code on your computer: each customer's usual gap between orders, who is overdue, who is new, what is due. The AI only writes the words.
  • Every draft is checked in code against your own records before you can copy it: every name, date, number and product. Drafts with pressure wording, fake urgency, someone else's name or contact details are marked "Do not send as written".
  • Marketing consent is built in. Reorder reminders are only drafted for customers your file marks as agreeing to marketing, and they include an easy way to say stop. Everyone else gets talking points, not a sales message. If your file has no consent column, nobody is treated as agreeing.
  • Your order file stays on your computer. Only first names, last initials and order facts for the customers on that week's list are sent to Anthropic. Email addresses and phone numbers are never sent. You can see exactly what will be sent before anything goes.
  • It reads exports from most online shops, tills and plain spreadsheets saved as CSV, joins duplicate customers, and skips cancelled and refunded orders.
  • The cost is shown before every run, and you set a limit. In our own test on a made-up shop with 58 customers, a week's run cost about 16 cents on our own Anthropic account.
  • A Word report with one card per customer, a spreadsheet of the week, an Excel file of every table, and a print view to pin by the till.

What you need

  • Free Node.js 18+ (Windows, Mac or Linux).
  • Your own Anthropic account and API key, with a little credit. A Claude chat subscription does not include API access.
  • Your own order or customer export as a CSV, or use the made-up sample in the zip to try it first.

You pay Anthropic directly for what you use, on top of the price of the app.
