Kitson Win-Loss and Battlecard Builder: Why You Really Win and Lose, From Your Own Deals (Opus 5.5)
Everybody hears "price". So the price gets cut, and the real reason never gets fixed.
Kitson Win-Loss and Battlecard Builder reads your own closed deals, won and lost, on your computer, and works out what they really say. It gives you:
- Your win rate against each competitor, segment, deal size, lead source and rep, each with a range, so a few deals are never over-read. Too few deals? It says so.
- Why you lose, as your own loss reasons say, grouped by rules you can read. In the made-up sample, the reps said price; the lost deals said timing in 22 of 59 and price in 11.
- Where lost deals stop, and how long won and lost deals take to close.
- A fact sheet from your own deals and notes, each fact linked to the deals behind it.
- Then Claude Opus 5.5 writes a battlecard for each competitor you have enough deals against (where you win, where they are stronger, the trap to avoid, questions to ask), honest answers to the objections your losses show most, a win/loss interview guide for your own customers, and a tag for each loss reason, which the app counts.
What makes it careful
- Every claim about a competitor must cite a fact from your own deals or notes, or the app holds it back as "evidence needed". A competitor with too few deals, or none, gets no battlecard.
- No name-calling, no invented figures, no pressure. Requests to run a competitor down, pose as a customer or scrape a competitor are refused before anything is sent. It contacts nobody.
- Your deals file stays on your computer. Only figures, facts, app-made codes (D-001, Rep 1) and short note snippets with names and contact details removed go to Anthropic. Customers, contacts, deal IDs, rep names, whole notes and your business name are never sent, and nothing is sent to Kitson Workshop. You can see exactly what will be sent before you run it.
- The cost is shown before every run. In our own test on the made-up sample (124 closed deals against four made-up competitors, three battlecards), one run cost about 25 cents on our own Anthropic account. A bigger file costs a little more.
- Take it with you: the battlecards in Word, the win-loss report in Word, your deals with their tags as a CSV, and every table in Excel.
What you need
- Free Node.js 18+ (Windows, Mac or Linux).
- Your closed deals, won and lost, as a CSV from your CRM or a spreadsheet (deal ID and outcome at least; competitor, reason, stage, dates and notes help). A made-up sample is in the zip so you can try it first.
- It needs your own Anthropic API key, with a little credit. A Claude chat subscription does not include API access.
You pay Anthropic directly for what you use, on top of the price of the app.

Early release, for educational purposes, made by Kitson Workshop. It works only from your own deals file: it can misread or miss things, and it cannot see your competitors or the market. A win rate on a few deals is a rough guide. Check the facts behind each battlecard before your team uses it; comparative claims in public advertising must be true and backed by evidence. Rep figures are for coaching, never for judging a person on a few deals. This is a sales aid, not legal advice. If we can't get the app running for you, email kit376351@gmail.com within 14 days for a refund of the app price. Fixes are sent to buyers free. Kitson Workshop is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.
