StudentEngineeringFieldNotebook
Student Engineering Field Notebook | Robotics & STEM | Editable
Help students turn hands-on engineering work into a clear record of questions, decisions, evidence, and next steps. The Spark Shape Sustain™ Student Engineering Field Notebook gives middle and high school teams a compact booklet they can use during robotics, engineering, and STEM club work.
Make the work visible
• Research, requirements, and success criteria
• Concept sketches and project planning
• Mechanical build and electrical/code documentation
• Test plans, data, and failure analysis
• Handoffs, reflection, and the next action
Your download
• 16 booklet pages arranged on 8 landscape print spreads
• One editable PowerPoint file
• One matching print-ready PDF
Two product files in one ZIP. Both formats contain the same notebook; the 16 pages include the cover, use instructions, recording pages, and closing page.
BOOKLET PRINTING
Print the PDF on US Letter paper in landscape, double-sided, with a short-edge flip. Use actual size / 100% and do not apply another booklet arrangement. Stack the four sheets, fold, and staple. Test one copy before printing a class set. The print spreads intentionally pair nonconsecutive page numbers so the folded booklet reads in order.
FORMATS AND SCOPE
Microsoft PowerPoint desktop is recommended for editing. Other applications may change the layout. The PDF is not an interactive fillable form. This is a recording notebook with prompts and writing space, not a completed exemplar or a robot-building or coding curriculum.
