Student Team Launch Bundle | Robotics, Leadership & Engineering Notebook
Build the robot. Build the team. Help the next person lead.
A student team needs more than a project to complete. Students need a purpose they can explain, meaningful work they can own, routines that keep the work moving, and support as they learn to lead.
The Spark Shape Sustain™ Student Team Launch Bundle brings these pieces together in nine coordinated resources. It is designed for middle and high school robotics teams and can be adapted for engineering and STEM clubs, whether you are launching a new group, resetting team routines, or preparing for a leadership transition.
Start with a shared purpose. Build routines that last.
Use the student presentation to introduce the Spark • Shape • Sustain cycle. Work through the reusable packets to establish roles and team routines. Show students completed examples, then use the field notebook to capture their own questions, decisions, tests, and next steps.
The bundle keeps student ownership at the center through meaningful roles, visible evidence, feedback, and supported handoffs. Ask • Model • Release supports learning; Reflect • Revise • Repeat brings the team back to what it needs next.

What your download contains
You receive a ZIP folder with 19 files: six editable Word documents, three editable PowerPoint files, nine matching PDFs, and one text guide.
The six Word-based resources total 85 pages in their supplied PDFs. The presentation, notebook, and recruitment slide are additional. Each resource has an editable version and a matching PDF.
Edit text and tables in Word and customize the PowerPoint content for your team. Microsoft Word and PowerPoint desktop apps are recommended for the intended layout. Other applications may display fonts and pagination differently. Use the PDFs for consistent printing; they are not interactive fillable forms.
The field notebook is arranged as eight landscape print spreads that fold into a 16-page booklet. Print on US Letter paper, double-sided, with a short-edge flip. Four sheets make one booklet. Printing instructions are included.
Make it your team’s system
Start with the resources your team needs now. Replace the recruitment template’s school, contact, and meeting fields before sharing. Adapt sample people, dates, tasks, and results in the completed examples to your setting.
This is a digital resource bundle; no physical product is shipped. It supports team organization and leadership rather than providing robot build instructions or coding lessons. Adults retain responsibility for safety, spending approvals, and required procedures.
