Sibelius - Romance in C

The Romance in C was written by Jean Sibelius in 1903, and reflects the composer's earlier,

more Romantic style. The piece was originally titled "Andante"; however, Sibelius would rename

the work at the suggestion of a reviewer in 1908. The piece is comprised of three main sections:

two slower Andante sections that bookend the dramatic un pochettino con moto.
