Golden Linings

The view out to sea from the cliffs above Steamer Steps in Budleigh is stunning. But it gets particularly awesome on those wintry days as the sun struggles through the clouds, lighting up the water, and in this case giving gold and silver linings.

Here as the light comes pouring down from above, the water glows around the shipping buoy. In the larger files, you’ll also notice some distant ships in the hazy distance on the horizon. You can also see the disc of the sun in the centre of the image.
