Willows - symmetrical triangular shawl
Downloadable PDF knitting pattern.
If you liked my Listopad shawl design, you may like this one two! These shawl designs are like two sisters; and while the Listopad is mature and confident, the Willows is young, delicate and artistic.
Willows is a classic symmetrical triangular shawl. It is worked top down from the centre of the top edge and out to the bottom edge.
It is designed to be knit in three yarn shades, from light to dark, therefore, it is important to choose the colours that have some level of contrast with each other. In two-colour sections only one colour per every two rows is used.
This shawl design consists of various stitch patterns, from eyelet and very basic slipstitch patterns to more complex variations of stitch patterns based on brioche knitting.
The stitch patterns are charted are fully written out.
