Back At Bartlett’s Camp! It’s a wonderful place, very rustic by most people’s standards today, but it was quite the build back in the 1890s when it was built. A big Camp, with a kitchen, a central room for dining where many tall tales were told. Two Rooms, each with a Bunk Ned for the Sportsmen to bunk in, with a third bedroom with a bunk bed for the Guides. I first learned of Bartlett’s Camp when I was about ten years old, and my Dad, Vic, become the Camp Caretaker. There’s been a number of Guides, Caretakers, and Camp Cooks in our family. Some of whom are mentioned in the Book, Guides of The North Woods.

Bartlett’s Camp has been an important part of my life, and while it’s been many years since I’ve been there, my heart still longs to return. The Camp, I believe, has had members of our family as Caretakers, including myself, for the past forty or so years. It’s a place that’s near and dear to my heart. I believe this song reflects that, and I hope You’ll enjoy it to!
