Ballerinas On The Snow

I had the pleasure of living in the heart of Cape Breton back in the mid 90s. I lived about 6 kilometres from my nearest neighbour and store. In the winter, I’d often walk along the snow covered country road, white fields, and gypsum cliffs. One day, I saw Ballerinas Dancing On The Snow!

Similar to a tornado, but much smaller like a dust devil, there are at times when the conditions are right, swirling, wisps of snow that sometimes get to be five to ten, or more, feet tall and as they spin and go they appear like Ballerinas On The Snow!
