Garden City Mitts
Garden City Mitts are a pair of fingerless gloves that combine practical warmth with floral charm. Named for Victoria, BC, known as the Garden City, this design is inspired by the area’s lush blooms and English-style gardens.
These mitts feature a crisp two-tone ribbed cuff and a framed stranded motif of four-petal flowers, reminiscent of native wild roses and dogwoods. The palm is worked in a tidy lattice pattern, offering visual contrast and a meditative rhythm.
With two sizes and thoughtful construction, Garden City Mitts is a satisfying knit for anyone looking to explore colourwork in small doses. A cheerful project that brings a touch of summer beauty to chilly days.
