The 99 Names of Allah — Free Colour Book (A4 + US Letter PDF)
A free colour book of the 99 Names of Allah (Asma ul Husna). Instant PDF. A4 and US Letter. Print at home. Nothing is posted in the mail.
These are the Names of Allah, not a list of ordinary Arabic names. The Name is already printed in black. Nobody colours it. You colour the marks that tell you how to say it: zabar, zer, pesh, jazm, tashdeed, madd, and you colour the star. Nine Names at a time. Look, say, hide, write the sounds, tick a star.
The pages are simple on purpose. A child of about six to ten can sit with a grown-up. A grown-up can sit with the page alone. Same marks. Same nine at a time. You do not need to already read Arabic.
What you get
132 pages. Two PDFs. One book.
How the marks work, with a worked Name so you can see the colours before you start.
Every Name on its own page: the joined word stays black, the letters are in boxes, the sounds have a colour.
A week page every nine Names: nine stars, a line for “we sat with these”, nothing to rush.
A quiet finish at the end. No certificate that claims they have “learned all the Names”.
A4 for India, the UK and the Gulf. US Letter for the US and Canada. Reprint as often as you like. Personal use only — do not resell or share the files.
How to use it
1. Print single-sided on ordinary paper. A colour printer helps for the mark cards; the Name pages work in black ink too.
2. Start at the right-hand end of the word. Put a small pencil mark there the first few times. Sit with a child, or sit with the page yourself.
3. Colour only the marks and the star. Leave the Name.
4. Stop after nine. Come back next week. Tried is better than finished.
How you get the files
Enter your email. Both PDFs are sent straight away. Nothing is posted in the mail.
Who it is for
A child of about six to ten, with a grown-up beside them.
A grown-up learning the sounds for the first time, or coming back to them slowly.
Anyone who wants the Names of Allah on paper, not on a phone.
Who it is not for
Not a mushaf.
Not a ruling on how the Names are to be taught.
Not a colouring book of prophets, people or animals.
Not the greyscale paperback (that is a separate book, later).
The Name stays in ink
Amanah Desk is not a scholar. This is a colour book of the 99 Names of Allah, not a class. The joined Name stays black on purpose, so it is not scribbled over. There is no Qur'an passage on these pages. We would rather not put ayat on a sheet that gets used, loved, and eventually thrown away.
If it helps
The Kids Daily Salah Journal is twelve colourful pages for any month: a weekly Fajr-to-Isha chart, thirty kind days, monthly dots, and a sticker sheet of moons and stars. A4 and US Letter.
