Circle of Control
The Circle of Control activity helps students distinguish between what they can and cannot control, fostering a sense of empowerment and reducing anxiety. During the activity, students categorize various aspects of their lives into two circles: the inner circle for things they can control and the outer circle for things they cannot. This visual and interactive exercise encourages students to focus their energy on controllable factors, enhancing their emotional regulation and problem-solving skills.
The Circle of Control activity can be used in group work or individual counseling.
