Comprehensive GREP Styles Analysis and Match Counter

This script provides comprehensive analysis of GREP styles within your document's paragraph styles, delivering precise match counts for each GREP expression. The tool performs context-aware searches that combine paragraph styles with their associated GREP patterns to count actual matches throughout your document, giving you invaluable insights into which styles are actively working and which may need attention.

The script generates detailed reports in multiple formats including an on-screen summary, a beautifully formatted InDesign document with color-coded results, and a plain text file for easy sharing. Results are clearly highlighted with green for active GREP styles that found matches and red for those with zero matches, while also identifying disabled patterns and flagging any GREP expression errors that need correction.
