GREP Mixed Format Marker 3.2
GREP Mixed Format Marker 3.2
Detect and highlight words with inconsistent character formatting
Mixed Format Marker automatically identifies words containing mixed character formatting throughout your document. It scans for inconsistencies in font family, font style, point size, leading, scaling, baseline shift, skew, case, position, language, conditions, fill color, underline, strikethrough, and character styles within individual words, then applies customizable conditional text highlights to mark these problem areas.
The script provides an intuitive interface where you can select which formatting aspects to monitor, customize highlight colors and condition names, and use advanced filtering to target specific paragraph or character styles. You can choose between scanning all words, selected articles, or custom GREP patterns.
Change from previous version
Version 3.1 represents a significant evolution from 2.5, focusing on performance optimization, cross-platform compatibility, and enhanced filtering capabilities. While maintaining the core mixed formatting detection functionality, it adds powerful new scope filtering options and dramatically improves processing speed through optimized algorithms.
Included bonus script Conditional Text Navigator 1.1
This script provides a floating palette interface for efficiently navigating through words that have conditional text applied in your document. It automatically scans all stories to locate conditional words, then provides intuitive navigation controls to move between them, jump to specific word numbers, and remove conditions as needed. Perfect for use with the Mixed Format Marker 3.1
