Demons

This is a subject that can be incredibly difficult to put into words, but I wanted to try and capture what it’s actually like to live inside that experience. "Demons" is my attempt to map out the territory of mental illness, specifically the isolation and the sheer weight of it.

I wrote the lyrics to reflect the reality of someone battling through psychosis, constant fear, and delusions that feel every bit as real as the world around them. It’s a song that asks the heavy questions: What is reality? Where does the "madness" start? Is there ever a way to truly escape that kind of mental torment? It’s a raw look at that internal struggle, focusing on the moments when your own mind feels like an enemy you can't get away from.
