[SPH] Saiga 12

The Saiga-12 is a Russian semi-automatic shotgun based on the AK-47 design, developed by Izhmash in the 1990s. Chambered for 12-gauge shells, it uses detachable box or drum magazines, typically holding 5 or 12 rounds, with larger aftermarket options available. It features a smoothbore barrel, with lengths ranging from 430mm to 680mm, and has an overall length between 910mm and 1,145mm, depending on the variant. Weighing approximately 3.6 to 4.5 kg, the Saiga-12 is built for reliability in harsh conditions and is widely used for civilian self-defense, competition shooting, and law enforcement. Various models exist, including sporterized versions for hunting and tactical configurations with folding stocks, rails, and muzzle devices. Production and exports to the U.S. were affected by sanctions on Russian arms manufacturers in the 2010s, but the Saiga-12 remains popular worldwide.
