Dancing Kites FPP Patchwork Block Pattern
This digital pattern guide includes 100% full-size templates to print and cut out for a Foundation Paper Piecing Block in several sizes. On the Dancing Kites block, 16 colorful kites fly merrily in circles, inspired by the terrific flight maneuvers of stunt kites on the beach.
This block pattern is in ENGLISH. The German tutorial is also available in my Payhip Shop.
You can choose between templates in CENTIMETER or INCH when downloading.
Finished block sizes:
CENTIMETER: 15 x 15 cm • 20 x 20 cm • 25 x 25 cm • 30 x 30 cm with seam allowance 0.75 cm.
INCH: 6“ x 6“ • 9“ x 9“ • 10“ x 10“ • 12“ x 12“ with seam allowance ¼“.
Good knowledge of Foundation Paper Piecing technique is required for this block. There are many good tutorials on Youtube to get you started. The block instructions include some handy tips and expert tricks. The block works well with fabric scraps and also looks great in a combination of prints and solids. Or try a monochrome version....
