Set Sails FPP Patchwork Block Pattern
This digital pattern includes 100% full-size templates to print and cut out for a Foundation Paper Piecing Block in several sizes. On the Set Sails block in the shape of a octagon, sailors get ready for a sailing race and set the colorful sails on their boats.
This block pattern is in ENGLISH. The German tutorial is also available in my Payhip Shop.
You can choose between templates in CENTIMETERS or INCHES when downloading.
Finished block sizes:
CENTIMETER: 15 x 15 cm • 20 x 20 cm • 25 x 25 cm • 30 x 30 cm with seam allowance 0.75 cm.
INCH: 6“ x 6“ • 9“ x 9“ • 10“ x 10“ • 12“ x 12“ with seam allowance ¼“.
Good knowledge of Foundation Paper Piecing technique is required for this block. There are many good tutorials on Youtube to get you started. The block instructions include some handy tips and expert tricks. The block works well with fabric scraps and also looks great in a combination of prints and solids. Or try a monochrome version....
