LEsson 14 Two Brothers Two paths
Before we look at the conflict between Cain and Abel, we need to look at their lives. They were completely
different! Cain was a farmer who tilled the hard ground. Abel was a shepherd who hunted and watched the flocks.
God didn't love one brother more than the other because of their jobs. But farming is constant, exhausting work,
while shepherding has moments of deep quiet and stillness. Sometimes, the choices we make leave us so busy that
we forget to make time for God. Being different is beautiful, but being too busy is a trap!
