Description:

This favourite aria from Handel’s opera, Acis and Galatea, originally composed with Sopranino recorder and bass voice, is arranged here for four recorders. The aria is full of humour and theatrical moments, as well as a virtuosic Sopranino line. Perfect for ensembles wanting to add some flair to their repertoire!

In this arrangement, the Sopranino, Alto and Bass recorders take most of the more challenging moments, while the Tenor line is more relaxed.

This piece is also found collected in ‘A Selection of Works from Acis and Galatea’.
