Learn to knit a classic pair of socks from toe to cuff with this pattern and video tutorial. The socks are worked using a 9" short circular needle and feature a round toe and heel worked in a contrasting color. The heel is worked when the sock is complete, using a peasant heel construction.


The pattern includes a video tutorial that explains the sock knitting process and a complete walk-through of the pattern.

Leg and foot length are adjustable.


Intended to be worn with approximately 1 in [2.5 cm] negative ease for adults.


Needles:

US 1 [2.25 mm] 9 in [23 cm] circular needles

Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge.


US 1 [2.25 mm] 32 in [80 cm] circular needles for working the toe and heel using Magic Loop (or substitute with your preferred method for working small circumferences in the round)


Yarn:

These socks are knit with Alley Cat Yarns Smooth Sock - a superwash merino yarn in a lovely range of hand-dyed colors.
