The SVT-40 is a Soviet semi-automatic battle rifle developed as an improvement over the earlier SVT-38. Chambered in 7.62×54mmR, it uses a 10-round detachable box magazine, which can also be reloaded with stripper clips. The rifle has a 625mm barrel, an overall length of 1,226mm, and weighs approximately 3.85 kg without a bayonet. It operates with a gas-operated, short-stroke piston system and features an adjustable gas regulator to control cycling. Initially intended to replace the Mosin-Nagant, the SVT-40 proved to be complex to maintain under battlefield conditions, leading to a decline in production. Despite this, it saw widespread use during World War II, including as a designated marksman’s rifle when fitted with a scope. Its design influenced later Soviet firearms, including the SKS and AK-47.

*This product can only be used with the SPH engine. It uses custom animatons and a high-quality PBR weapon model. Scope not included.
