The Sacrifice
This is a story of an American Soldier and his entire team who fought greatly at the most heart wrenching battle in the Pacific during World War 2-- the Battle of the Corregidor Island.
The Allied Forces (American and Filipino army) were outnumbered by the Japanese troops. But even though they were outnumbered, the Allied forces stood their ground to defend the Military fortress called Corregidor Island until they could no longer do so due to the lack of water, lack of food and lack of weapons. When the Allied forces surrendered, the Japanese troops captured them and forced them into the Death March.
This is a story of all the fallen soldiers and the heroic civilians who witnessed and helped those soldiers to survive in one of the most horrifying experience during World War 2.
