Walk in Boston # 1, the forgotten West End
This self-guided tour allows you to see the consequences of urban renovation undertaken in the 1950s.
Often off the beaten track, it will be fascinating if you like contemporary architecture, art, history and unexpected discoveries both outside and inside.
It's the first walk I created, and I've taken a lot of people there on a guided tour. I really like it because it explores a little-visited but architecturally very varied part of Boston.
