Advanced Text Frame Creation & Threading Tool

Create Text Frames is an InDesign script that automates the creation and organization of text frames across documents. The script creates column layouts across multiple pages and builds grids of interconnected frames with customizable threading options that connect text flow between frames.

The script includes two modes: Page Mode creates frames across entire documents with page selection options (active, all, even/odd, or custom ranges), and Grid Mode builds frame grids either within existing frame boundaries or from specified dimensions. Features include object style application, layer targeting, multiple threading patterns (row-wise, column-wise, and snake), and support for left-to-right and right-to-left reading directions.
