MathML Magic Painter & Utilities 1.0
MathML Magic Painter 1.0.8
CMYK/Spot color treatment for MathML objects
MathML Magic Painter addresses a critical limitation in Adobe InDesign where MathML objects are restricted to RGB color space, preventing the use of CMYK and Spot colors essential for professional printing workflows. This script processes MathML mathematical expressions by applying a specialized knockout technique that enables full CMYK and Spot color support while maintaining the integrity of complex mathematical formulas.
The script creates a sophisticated layering system where mathematical expressions are rendered with user-selected colors through transparency knockout groups. It can process both regular and anchored MathML objects across different document scopes, from individual selections to entire documents, while preserving all anchored object settings and providing comprehensive processing reports with timing information.
Enhanced color processing capabilities including automatic color mixing for complex backgrounds and specialized treatment for multi-colored backgrounds through advanced blending modes.
Limitations
- Objects located on the pasteboard, locked objects, grouped objects, or objects on locked layers will be automatically skipped during processing
- Colored math objects other than black can't be created over multiple-color graphics or images
- Multicolored expressions can’t be accurately processed

MathML Utilities – count/report, export, import and update MathML expressions
MathML Utilities streamlines the management of mathematical expressions (Math ML) in Adobe InDesign documents. This tool allows users to efficiently count, analyze, and export existing MathML objects while providing detailed reports on their distribution and formatting across document pages. The script also enables import of MathML content from external files, automatically creating properly formatted Math expressions in a new document.
MathML Magic Reverter – The MathML Magic Reverter is the companion tool to MathML Magic Painter. It extracts original MathML objects from "MathML_Painted" groups and restores them to their original, unprocessed state.
Suggested pricing is for single-user licenses. For teams/departments, consider a higher contribution.
