Hi & Welcome. I am truly so grateful you are here. I'm Bianca, a human with lived experience of complex trauma, toxic shame and a whole lot of compassion, drive and passion for educating and empowering others through knowledge and understanding of themselves.
In this course you will get a full comprehensive understanding of how the past can shape our current functioning and how we carry our past in our current thoughts, behaviours and emotions with exercises you can start implementing immediate.
I am 4x certified in trauma care from Arizona Trauma Institute and their talented faculty and have over 300 hours in specific trauma awareness, education and bottom up/ experiential processing. I pride myself in my international relationships with others who also believe in the same work including some of the top international doctors in trauma care.
I truly believe if everyone had access to this information, the current state of our mental health crisis would be different. Everyone deserves to know they are not "broken", "disordered" or a "lost cause", we have neurobiological changes that happen with our body, brain and nervous system that directly impact us - once we have this education, starting or continuing on your mental health journey can take a whole different trajectory- leading with curiosity and compassion and long lasting change.
It's not always what happened to us, but also what doesn't happen and I truly believe after this course you will leave with hope, compassion and curiosity for your future self.
Join Bianca in a 6 module course bringing you along a journey for self-discovery and a mind, body, and spirit approach to mental health support. Bianca blends somatic exercises, parts work, principals of coherence therapy and curiosity and compassion to foster a full, comprehensive understanding of how your past shaped your current functioning and how to work with the "parts" of ourselves that don't always align with our true values. Understand how our experiences shaped the way we see ourselves, the world and others and how it plays a vital role in our current functioning.
In this course, you will learn about:
The effects of toxic stress, adversity and trauma on your brain development and functioning, nervous system and everyday human behaviour.
How to manage your stress without "better time management, asking for help or "self care".
Why your current struggles actually make complete sense and explore this with self-compassion and curiosity.
Why "talk therapy" isn't always helpful for those who are self-aware and why we can't "think" our way out of anxiety, depression or emotional regulation.
Exploring your parts of your personality with compassion and understanding why they keep showing up and what they are trying to do.
Go deeper than changing your thinking and understanding how to regulate your body from the bottom up.
