Star Toss

Introduction

Star Toss was born from the idea to design a quilt as a mystery pattern for the blog advent calendar. While using a simple block concept that can be accomplished during the hectic Christmas season, the layout nonetheless gives the design a fun and modern twist. It is also a skill builder as the block sizes grow smaller from 12" to 3".

Content

This is the full pattern version which includes five layouts for four quilt sizes ranging from Baby to Twin. The Throw version coming with a simple and a more sophisticated layout.

The pattern starts with general information/instructions inkl. a tutorial with many graphics for the Wonky Star as well as various example colorings, followed by mock-ups in a lookbook style so that you can pick your desired version.

After that, you will find all the pages for each version bundled together so you do not have to skip back and forth. Each design comes with its own details page summarizing the important information and of course assembly diagrams showcasing the construction in detail.

Coloring sheets are available for on-paper and computer coloring for all five layouts.

Skill Level

Confident Beginner | The blocks for this quilt are sewn with an improvisational technique which is explained in detail. If not for the 3" block, this would classify as a beginner pattern.

Technical Stuff
