When I saw this beautiful tulip stitch I was compelled to design a cowl using it. I just had to do it. While searching for the perfect name I came across the Lisca tulip and was equally smitten. Please forgive me calling it that though the stitch does not have the flower’s frilly edges. I am certain you will be able to find a garden of beautiful colors that this cowl could be knit in.

Cowl is knit in the round in garter stitch, which means that every other round is purled, except where needed to make the flowers and leaves stand out.
