The Red Brick Socks are a simple textured sock design, featuring twisted stitches that stack up in an alternating pattern. The shapes are reminiscent of bricklaying, whilst the memorable stitch pattern makes for a soothing project where your progress can be easily charted.

Patterns from the Building Blocks Sock Collection are written with multiple options, to allow the knitter to learn new methods of sock knitting. Choose your preferred yarn weight: a heavier, sport-weight yarn creates speedy, thick socks; or stick to a typical fingering-weight sock yarn for a classic hand-knitted fit.

  • Directions provided for 2 gauges
  • Instructions given for knitting both cuff-downwards and toe-up
  • Twisted rib cuff
  • Simple stitch texture
  • Heel flap & gusset construction
  • Stocking stitch toe
