All contents by Hans Rickheit
I began work on this book in 2014, not expecting it would take eleven years to complete. While other projects were worked on along the way, this one was almost always the priority - mostly.
It is finally finished, printed, and ready to be brought into your home, where it will quietly exist on a shelf until someone makes the mistake of opening it. You may then astound your friends, confuse your enemies and alienate unwanted relatives!
This volume continues the story of Cochlea & Eustachia, joined this time by a new companion, Fronky. The usual inexplicable events occur, rendered in the meticulous, detail-obsessed, eye-destroying manner long associated with Chrome Fetus Comix.
Readers may take comfort in knowing that, in keeping with tradition, no trace of conventional plot or narrative clarity has been allowed to contaminate these pages.
“I can safely say the Cochlea & Eustachia graphic novel is a visual feast in more way than one… the imagery is so vividly weird I can’t get it out of my head.” - AIPT Comics
“Rickheit’s story flows like a dream… plunge into its blood-treacle atmosphere, and swim through its uncanny world.” - Brilsby’s Whims
“Hans Rickheit’s Cochlea & Eustachia has to be one of the oddest graphic novellas to hit shelves… its narrative belongs in a world of its own.” - Under the Radar Magazine
Shipping Note
As many people are already aware, shipping rates have become slippery and unpredictable. Payhip is a wonderful platform for selling comics and art - especially since it doesn’t censor what creators can sell - but it currently does not offer a built-in shipping calculator.
I do my best to keep shipping fees as accurate as possible, though a small amount of estimation (“fudging”) may occasionally occur, particularly for international orders.
If the shipping fee charged for your order significantly exceeds the actual cost once the package is handed off to USPS or UPS, I generally refund the surplus amount.
As always, thank you for your patience and for supporting independent, self-published work.
