Tutabaq Bag Knitting Pattern

Have you ever bought a skein of yarn because it was the last one there? Or because it was the last of its color? Or because it was so interesting in the store, but then you had no idea what to do with it? This pattern, named after the Arabic word for 'stratify,' is a great way to use one of those in that last category. I picked up this novelty yarn because it was pretty, and ended up with a design idea that paired it with a wool to make this felted/fulled purse. There is no sewing necessary for any of this; it is made in one piece, joining as you go, and as soon as you weave in ends, you can felt/full it and have a great bag!
