Secret Room

Nassi Nasam expects little from her life as an Aloran woman, but when opportunity presents itself, she flees her native city in the hopes of finding freedom and a better life. Widowed and downtrodden, she comes to Murcia to work, only to discover she remains as vulnerable as she ever was in Alora.

A violent encounter with a rich man in the halls of the Easemont Hotel leaves Nassi devastated, but her belief in Murcia’s justice system leads her to report the crime though she fears the consequences. Subjected to scrutiny and judgment, Nassi begins to question Murcia’s promises.
