Beginners Crochet Class - 4 weeks

This beginners course will show you the basics of crochet so you can learn in a hands-on way to start crocheting. The benefit of an in person course rather than online is so that you can be shown at your own pace how to start.

On this course, we will start with basics about different weight and materials of yarn, crochet hooks and what gauge is. We will then move on to learning how to hold a crochet hook, start a foundation chain and all the basic stitches needed to create all crochet patterns.

We will start with creating some basic granny squares before moving onto some more special stitches, increasing and decreasing and then learning how to join them. By the end of the course you will have the skills to make a simple crochet piece as well as use them as a foundation for learning more complex crochet techniques.

This class suits absolute beginners, lapsed crocheters or those who have learnt a stitch or two but got stuck!
