The Krauss-Maffei Wegmann ATF Dingo is a heavily armored military MRAP infantry mobility vehicle built on a Unimog chassis with a V-hull design (KMW). The Dingo 1 was first prototyped in 1995, and the German Army received the first production Dingo 1 in 2000. ATF stands for Allschutz-Transport-Fahrzeug in German, which means "all-protected transport vehicle," and is named after the dingo, an Australian native canine.
