Description:

The pattern Rusty Keyhole Cowl brings together fun variegated colors of handdyed yarn with a fluffy texture of mohair yarn.

The cowl is knitted in the round top down with the main color of merino DK yarn using a cable stitch pattern, and the lower edge is finished with several rounds of garter stitch in mohair yarn. The different gauges of merino and mohair yarns give the cowl a trapezoidal look without increasing stitches.

To give the cowl extra pop of color and to show better some part of the stitch pattern, decorative stitches were added on top of the knitted fabric. The pattern shows 2 ways how to add these stitches and includes 2 video tutorials.
