HISTORICAL, LEGAL AND JURISPRUDENCE ANALYSIS ON HOMOSEXUAL RELATIONSHIP AND SAME SEX MARRIAGE IN AFRICA

This research provides a comprehensive examination of homosexual relationships and same-sex marriage within the African context, focusing on their historical background, legal interpretations, and jurisprudential implications. This study clarifies, through an analysing of the Court’s jurisprudence on same-sex family life, what is the Court’s current position on the legal recognition of same-sex families. 

The specific objectives of the study are to discuss same sex marriage entirely; to discuss the adverse legal implications of the Act on the citizens and the image of the country on the international scene; to discuss the concept of same sex marriage in select jurisdictions. This research consists of a title page, approval page, certification, abstract, table of contents, List of abbreviations, Chapters one to five (from introduction to conclusion), and references.
